About the Company

Tim Andrews Associates started business in 2001 and is owned and run by Tim Andrews. Tim graduated with an honours science degree in the UK in 1976, and was commissioned as one of Her Majesty's Inspectors of Taxes with the UK Inland Revenue until joining one of the now Big 4 accounting firms, becoming an international tax partner in 1991.

In Tim's 10 years as an international tax partner, he has worked in both the Thames Valley in the UK and in San Jose, California dedicated to assisting technology companies set up operations in Europe and the Pacific Rim. His experience is unparalleled, having been responsible for well over 500 such set ups in the period.

As Tim Andrews Associates he has continued to provide services to technology companies, in setting them up and in ensuring that operations are compliant with local regulations, making tax filings, and ensuring that operations are run cost effectively and providing international tax services.

We have a complete understanding of all the issues that technology companies face in setting up foreign operations, from both the strategic and structural issues to the day to day practical ones. More importantly we also understand the drivers and constraints that technology companies face in deciding to expand overseas, and we therefore work in partnership with our clients to provide effective solutions on a most cost-effective basis.

Once established, we continue to work with our clients assisting with expansion, and dealing with ongoing administration, filings, ensuring the foreign operations comply with all necessary obligations.

In each of our clients' situations, we use our extensive experience, full knowledge of the issues both in terms of what is required in a local jurisdiction and the proven simple and practical solutions to quickly develop the alternatives and recommend an optimum solution for that client. These firms work through us so that our clients - at least in the initial start-up phase - need only deal with us.
